A Note from our Founder, Nancy
Isn’t it weird that so many agencies won’t show their faces?
Their websites have all the bells and whistles… but almost nothing about their own team.
It’s a little unsettling, right?
If you’re trusting someone with your business – your reputation, your livelihood – you should know who they are, what they stand for, and whether you even like them.
Let’s fix that.
We’re The Seven Seedlings. We help solos and small practices—lawyers, consultants, clinicians, and more—grow their businesses with smart strategies, thoughtful content, delegation, and a whole lot of human connection.
Our Mission
To help our clients plant and nurture the seven seedlings of sustainable success
Meet the Team
Nancy Dabu
Founder & Consultant
Background
My career doesn’t fit neatly in a box — each stage planted a seed for what came next, and Seven Seedlings brings it all full circle.
After college, I was worked for a multi-channel marketing agency, honing my skills in writing websites and content that converts.
In 2015, I put those skills to the test when I co-founded and produced the largest sweets convention on the West Coast. With just a $1,500 marketing budget, we grew from 4,000 attendees to 12,000 in just two years.
Unfortunately, I was a young single mom in need of stability. So, after two sold-out conventions, I sold to my co-founder and transitioned into full-time HR Tech sales.
I didn’t know it then, but that same year, I met my future husband, a nonprofit & political law attorney.
When he was ready to go solo, I helped him launch and grow his law firm.
Today, his firm is a case study in how attorneys can build a thriving, sustainable practice—free from the constraints of traditional law firms.
Background
My grandfather was an attorney. I spent many afternoons doing my homework in his office while waiting for my mom, a teacher, to take me home.
In 2016, when Nancy hired me to help her with the cookie convention, I thought I was signing up for a one-time collaboration. (Clearly, I was wrong.)
When she sold, I left the company and transitioned to helping manage a local family law & bankruptcy firm while attending college. Unfortunately, without a modern approach to marketing and client outreach, the well-established firm struggled to attract new clients.
I graduated cum laude from UC Irvine and prepared for law school. Long story short, life had other plans.
I joined The Seven Seedlings (7S) in 2021 to take everything I’ve learned, and my knack for solving problems, to help others reach their goals. When Nancy later offered me the opportunity to become a Principal & Partner, it was an easy “yes”.
(True to our tendency to take unconventional paths, in 2024 Nancy and I enrolled in California’s Law Office Study Program. As “law readers”, we will challenge the bar in 2029.)

Background
In 2021, I started as a digital marketing virtual assistant with an agency. Not long after, I partnered with Nancy, who offered me the opportunity to work with her directly. Fast forward three years, and I’m still here—continuing to grow, adapt, and refine my skills.

Background
My friends call me Cecille, but my full name is Maria Rosario C. Ebreo. I am a lawyer by profession in the Philippines.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked as a virtual assistant at Seven Seedlings. With the help of 7S (notably Nancy) I was able to graduate law school and support myself financially.
Goals
Now that I am a lawyer, one of my aspirations is to provide a platform for aspiring lawyers to provide their skills and services – particularly in the legal field – to employers overseas.
Current Work
I specialized in family law and real estate. I also worked in a family law firm before I opened my own practice in November 2024.
What I Do Here
For 7S, I provide as-needed paralegal, legal assistant, and executive assistant support.
Outside of Work
I am a youth advocate. On a lighter note, I enjoy socializing with my friends and exploring both nature and cities.
